Stephanie Underwood began her career with Daniel in 1982 as a recent college graduate. With its Human Resources department, being established just six months earlier, she and the newly hired HR Director was responsible for initiating policies and procedures as the company was at the start of tremendous growth. As the company grew, her career expanded to nearly 35 years as she graduated to Manager of Human Resources and Daniel evolved into a full service property management, development and investment company.
Stephanie handles the administration of company personnel policies and procedures, payroll function, and benefit administration. She ensures compliance with federal and state laws as it relates to same. Stephanie interacts with managers at all levels and employees as it relates wage and salary administration, labor relations, policies and procedures, training and other aspects as related to areas under her administration.
Stephanie’s affiliations include: BSHRM -Birmingham Society of Human Resources Managers, SHRM – National Society of Human Resources Managers, National Association of Female Executive is a Board Member at America’s First Credit Union, BeStrong Associates – Management Group, GRLM, a Community Service Organization, and is a United Way of Alabama Volunteer. Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Business Administration, Graduate Studies at Birmingham Southern, and holds Certificates and Trainings in HR and Business Management.
