Mike Lawley joined Daniel in 1999 as Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Advisors, L.L.C. (CREA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Daniel Realty Services, L.L.C. He is responsible for oversight of the real estate services provided to Compass Bank by CREA. His responsibilities include lease administration and data base, identifying and developing opportunities for Compass Bank's existing and future real estate in all seven (7) states in which Compass Bank operates. He also works with the Senior Management at Compass Bank in managing their real estate activities including merger and acquisition activity; strategic planning; downsizing and expansion efforts; and market and occupancy cost analysis. Prior to joining Daniel, Mike spent 22 years with BellSouth in corporate real estate and previously at Harbert Corporation in Corporate Services. Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance/real estate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 1986 and his Masters of Business Administration from Samford University in 1993. Mike holds a broker license in five states - Alabama, Texas, Colorado, Georgia and Florida. His professional and civic activities include: Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Member, Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute National Association of Realtors President of Homeowners Association
